I feel very privileged to have been a Primary School Teacher for over 14 years,
teaching a variety of age groups. As a Maths Specialist Teacher and a
Specialist Leader of Education (SLE) for English, I have a strong background
in helping children achieve their best in core subjects. Throughout my career,
I have been a Class Teacher and Assistant Headteacher, and have had the
privilege of supporting children with a wide range of abilities and needs, from
Year 2 through to Year 8. I am passionate about helping every learner achieve
their potential through personalised, supportive teaching.

I am a qualified tutor through the Government’s National Tutoring Programme, with four years of experience providing tutoring to children in schools and privately. I work with young learners across the country, offering personalised online sessions via Zoom, whether they are learning from home or accessing additional support or an advanced curriculum in school. Whatever a child’s needs, I offer individualised support across a range of areas:
-
Children with additional educational needs, such as dyslexia, autism spectrum conditions (ASC), or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
-
Children who are home educated for a variety of personal, educational, or medical reasons.
-
Children in care, or those who are temporarily unable to access mainstream education.
-
Young people who are finding school attendance difficult due to anxiety or other challenges, either temporarily or over a longer term
-
Gifted and talented learners who are working beyond the usual expectations for their age can receive full curriculum teaching at their current level via Zoom, during the school day, while their classmates follow the standard curriculum.
